I am always looking for new pics of the village or new stories from past residence or relatives of past residences so I can add them to my Facebook Farmers Station Group site. We haven’t had any new business crop up in the village either. we have no new homes in the Station or near by the limit signs nor have we had any old homes torn down neither.

The village is pretty much the same as it has been for years only with a growing eye sore of Junk cars at a local used car dealership. we now have a large willow tree that needs to be cut up so we can either burn it here on a brush pile or give to someone to cut the tree up for firewood and haul it off their use as they see fit. We recently had a cold front that came thru pushing some thunder storms which had strong wind gust with them the first storm during the daylight hours of the afternoon blew 2/3rds of our willow tree which the wind blew from the south laying that part of the tree on the ground to the north just missing a swing set then during the late night time hours (after midnight) a stronger storm came thru blowing the rest of the standing tree over laying it to the south in our garden needless to say the tree is a total lost which that is pretty much normal for willow trees. That’s enough for this subject for today. The growing year for the garden wasn’t the best either so it was just as well that I didn’t have an abundance of customers. 29th for total road reconstruction of about a half of a mile of roadway that included a curve and hill that they redesigned them to be a safer roadway. I didn’t have a real profitable selling year due to Farmers Road (where I have my stand) being closed since mid July thru Oct. My garden has all froze out by now which means the growing season is over for this year causing me to close my veggie stand and take down the road signs.
